I read the book a few years ago and it was a part of a series about a group of friends/cousins. It might have been a next gen type of series.
The hero liked the heroine since they were kids and always teased her. He was jealous of her best friend; I think his name was Carter maybe? Anyway, the heroine gets pregnant by the BFF, but something happens and the hero steps up as the father and they get married. Their marriage is rocky because the heroine thinks the hero cheats on her, so they fight a lot. Also, the hero is a football player and he travels a lot.
