Warranty Solutions Group launches supercar and prestige warranty

Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) has launched its new supercar and prestige warranty, delivering coverage that closely mirrors the original manufacturer’s warranty.

The new warranty has been developed to meet the rising demand in the UK supercar market, which hit a new record in 2024, growing 4% year-on-year to 23,320 units, according to research from UHY Hacker Young.

Ferrari remains the UK’s most popular supercar brand, with 14,714 vehicles on the road, while Lamborghini is experiencing the fastest growth, up 8% to 5,421 cars in 2023/24.

Despite concerns over potential tax increases affecting high-net-worth individuals, supercar sales continue to surge, reinforcing the need for premium warranty solutions.

Designed with luxury and prestige car dealers in mind, WSG’s new warranty offers comprehensive protection, covering over 6,000 mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.

The package includes premium benefits to minimise unexpected repair costs, all while offering dealers significant profit opportunities through long-term warranty upselling.

John Colinswood, CEO of WSG, said: “Our product is tailored specifically for high-end vehicles and their discerning owners, delivering exceptional benefits that extend far beyond standard coverage. With higher claim limits, enhanced labour rates, and lifetime wear & tear cover irrespective of the vehicle’s age or mileage, we offer true peace of mind for those who demand the best.

“Luxury and prestige car dealerships have shown unprecedented demand for a warranty solution that truly reflects the value of these vehicles. This product not only provides dealers with a competitive advantage but also enhances customer satisfaction, drives long-term retention, and increases extended warranty penetration—creating a win-win for all.”

Another feature of the new warranty is WSG’s exclusive premium dual recovery breakdown service. If a customer breaks down anywhere in the UK, WSG will recover both the customer and vehicle home first, before arranging recovery to the selling dealer or a repairer of their choice at their convenience.
