After the longest January in existence (which honestly was full of bad vibes and brought nothing to the function), we have entered February. The countdown to discounted Valentine’s Day candy has begung.
Here’s how we’re kicking off our reading this month:
Claudia: I just finished Love of My Afterlife ( A | BN | K | AB ) and loved every bit of it!
Sarah: Isn’t it so cute?!
Lara: I just finished Fan Service ( A | BN | K | AB ) and it is Rosie Danan at her best with one small caveat. More on that in the review I’m writing!
Amanda: I picked up Gifts of Gold by Rawnie Sabor ( A ) after Vivi in the comments recommended it for our Feminist Fantasy Rec League, The first line of the copy is “She’s an angry bitch. He’s a teasing bastard.” Sold!
Tara: Last week, I read Number Six by Lee Winter ( A | BN | K | AB ) and I loved the characters so much that I started reading it again yesterday.
Kiki: I just finished listening to A Duke Won’t Do by Jessie Clever and for the most part I really liked it! I think I’m a big fan of sheep farmer books.
Amanda: Okay, Kiki, you failed to mention how dreamy that cover is.
